Portfolio, Programme & Project Management Office services
There is much confusion about the role and functions of a Project or Programme Management Office (PMO). The terms Portfolio Management Office, Programme Management Office, Project Management Office, Centre of Excellence are often used interchangeably and inconsistently. A PMO can be formed to support your organisation’s administrative and/or management functions. HiLogic will work closely with you to design and establish the optimum PMO for your business.
Based on the approved PMO ‘terms of reference’ the functions in which we can provide support include:
- Project & Programme Management: Establishing and adapting project, risk and programme management methodologies ensuring consistency in approach and alignment to best practice governance
- Issue & Change Control: Setting procedures for issue management and change control to ensure impacts are assessed prior to authorising actions.
- Performance Evaluation and Reporting: Independent project portfolio evaluations and formation of visible progress tracking and reporting
- Benefits Management: Benefits mapping to projects and formulation of benefits realisation strategies to assure project outputs realise expected benefits
- Quality Management: Formulating quality assurance and control procedures to achieve ‘fit for purpose’ outputs
- Project Support: Administrative support functions and expertise in planning and control
- Capacity Building: Conducting training needs analysis and implementing skills development strategies
- Resourcing: Providing interim project and programme management staff
- P3O training: Ensuring your office is aligned to best practice PMO functions and services. Read More.
