PRINCE2 themes

The 7 Themes describe important project management approaches that must be applied throughout the project.

During the training we will explain the objective of each of the 7 Processes and how the Themes are applied together with the processes. The 7 Themes are:

Business Case   A document which justifies a project
Organization   Defines project roles and responsibilities
Plans   Describes the different types of plans in a PRINCE2 project
Progress   Describes project control mechanisms available to senior management (Project Board) and the project manager
Risk   PRINCE2’s risk analysis and management approach
Quality   Path to applying quality assurance and control in a project
Change   Defines the functions of configuration management, issue management and change control

The extent to which PRINCE2 Processes and Themes are applied will depend on the scale, nature and complexity of the Project.
