Course Summary
PRINCE2 is a project management methodology that will benefit all types of projects and projects of different sizes. Designed to facilitate effective control of projects it consists of 4 integrated elements. These integrated elements include 7 best practice project management Principles that guide 7 management Processes, 7 management Themes and Tailoring PRINCE2 to suit different project environments and scenarios.
The Practitioner course is a program designed to develop the participant’s ability to apply this project management method in different project environments and adapt the method under specific project scenarios.
The Practitioner training will:
- Expand the participant’s understanding of the principles and philosophies underpinning PRINCE2
- Provide detailed explanations on PRINCE2’s elements, their relationships and how they can be applied in different project environments
- Provide participants experience in applying the methodology to address the needs and problems of a specific project scenario
- Prepare participants for PRINCE2 Practitioner Certification
The Practitioner course is delivered as a 2 day event. For in-house training this Practitioner program can be completed over 2 or 3 days.
